Competent Person Training for OSHA Excavation Standards
A Certified Safety Professional (CSP) from OSHA Pro's will conduct an on-site training class covering OSHA's Trenching & Excavation standards for your group.
Topics covered during this on-site training class include:
- Conducting OSHA-mandated visual and manual soil tests
- OSHA standards regulating shoring, sloping & benching, and trench boxes
- Potential hazardous atmospheres in trenches
- Locate and avoid damage to underground utilities
- Handling an OSHA compliance inspection at your excavation site.
All training will be documented and certified by our trainer per OSHA regulations. Plus, each trainee receives a certificate of training. A version of this training based on Cal-OSHA construction safety orders is also available.
